Black sabino
Tennessee Walking Horse stallion,
with both hind and near fore stockings, on
near side of belly, on off side, lower lip,
blaze, and a mixed tail. 15.1 hands. Foaled
05/04/2010.
This black sabino stallion was the first of the
cross between
Delight’s Midnight Legend and a
Slush Creeks Jubal S mare. This turned out to be
an excellent cross that produced good-natured,
smart, calm horses with a superb running walk.
“Trey” has turned out to be everything we expected
him to be. He is thick with heavy bone, just what
you need for some of this ranch work. He has a head
for working cows. He is a “thinker” and doesn’t
panic, takes his time and works through it when
faced with a sticky situation.
Trey's foals have the same sweet disposition, calm
heads, and natural gait that he does. We are very
pleased with his foals. Their new owners have been
happily satisfied.
We no longer breed
outside mares to our herd sires,
but we have a new crop of foals for sale by
them, every spring.
